Independence Day Horror

I spend every 4th of July at home with two dogs that are absolutely terrified by the sound of fireworks. I take advantage of the situation the best way I know how…. by drowning out the sound of celebration with the sound of screams. I crawl into bed with pop corn and a Coke and crank the horror up all the way! There aren’t a whole lot of movies based on the holiday itself but there are plenty that take place on independence day. Here are some that I like to watch. I hope you enjoy them too.

#1 Uncle Sam (1996)

This is a fun little flick where a “back from the dead” soldier takes his revenge on anyone that betrays the patriotic spirit of the holiday. As a military Mom, this one speaks to me.
